2010, September, Cenon (near Bordeaux, South-West of France) inaugurates the Rocher de Palmer. Artistic direction : the association Musiques de Nuit. With 3 venues (1200, 650 and 250/450 places), the Rocher de Palmer is the place for all kinds of music : jazz, classical, électro, rock, folk, hip hop… Provided with a digital room, exhibition spaces, a Fnac Forum, and a Resource Center dedicated to world music, the Rocher de Palmer is a place for living and sharing. It also develops for every public many actions of practising and discovering world cultures : workshops, masterclasses, musical naps, meetings, exchanges…
