Non profit association created in 1997 by the Reunion Regional council and the French Ministry of Culture, the PRMA-Runmuzik is working on music development and accompanying musical projects in Reunion Island and all the other islands of south-western indian Ocean. PRMA is working as well on research and field recordings about the musical heritage of these islands (Takamba label ) as on procedures for professionalizing, promoting and exporting all contemporary musical creations and artists.
